9.4/10. This is my local spot in my favorite part of Berkeley.
Biased review? Maybe, but this is just an incredible gem tucked away right next to Peets across from the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley. A mere 10 minute walk from Clark Kerr. The Pastries are consistent, well-priced, and nothing short of incredible. The chocolate croissant is a must, and be on the lookout for seasonal specials like their date croissant. There have been times I've eaten an entire freshly baked baguette myself while studying. What a spot. Coming on the weekends? Expect a line. But don't fret, it moves quick and is absolutely worth it. Enjoy listening to the sounds of tennis across the street and watching as dogs stroll by and you'll appreciate being away from the grime of Telegraph and Durant. Want to run into me in Berkeley? Just come here on any given Sunday at around 10am and you'll catch me cooling down in line for a post-run pastry.
